2016 Race NEW Countdown
TCSDR, Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization, founded in 1999, operated by volunteers to promote, conduct and support mid-distance sled dog racing in the Midwestern United States and Canada.
After careful consideration the TCSDR board of directors has chosen to postpone the 2016 race until Saturday, January 23rd. The lack of adequate snow cover has resulted in conditions that would be unsafe for the dogs and mushers alike.
For any mushers who have signed up, and will not be able to attend the January 23rd date, full refunds of entry fees will be offered. If you have not yet signed up, but will be attending our event, registration will be open until the drivers meeting, Friday January 22nd. The TCSDR would however appreciate any entries for the alternate date be sent in advance, so that we may plan accordingly. Also only entries received prior to the January 20th bib draw will be included in the draw. All later entries will start behind those teams.
We apologize for the postponement, but feel it is what is in the best interest of the dogs, mushers and race. We look forward to seeing you at the Tahquamenon.
