We are pleased to announce that plans are underway for the 15th Annual running of the Tahquamenon Country Sled Dog Race.
The races are scheduled for Saturday, January 4, 2014.
This event is the season kickoff for a great many sled dog enthusiasts here in the Midwest.
The races will begin and end at the Muskallonge Lake State Park on County Road 407 in northern Luce County.
The TCSDR has attracted a large following of mushers from all over the country, as well as many volunteers and spectators.
As many as 114 dog teams have participated and the race is a qualifier for the U.P. 200.
The TCSDR is unique in that we offer not only challenging trails to the seasoned musher,
but opportunities for new mushers, novices and for youth as they begin their mushing careers.

Also, please download, complete and submit the Musher Biography Sheet with your Entry Form.
This will assist us in promoting the race and help any media covering the race to be accurate in their reporting.
